Junior High News !

School starts on Tuesday, August 21, 2007.

Our first student prepared school Mass will be Thursday, August 30, and grades 7 and 8 are in charge.

Elections for Class Officers for the St. Thomas Student Council will be Friday, August 31.  Eighth graders may run for all offices.  Seventh graders are restricted to secretary and treasurer.   There are many committees in which all students may participate.

Our first coffee and donut sale will be Friday, Sept. 7.  We hope to see you all there.

Students will be bringing home a copy of classroom rules for parents to sign.

I have the students bring book covers to the classroom this week (Aug. 21-24) to covers textbooks here in the room. 

Prepare to be busy and have fun !!  Oh, yes, and to study too!

I have taught Religion,English, Literature, and Social Studies for many years. This year I will also teach Math and Science. I thoroughly enjoy teaching junior high at Saint Thomas.

I spend my free time reading, watching movies, and gardening. My greatest joy is spending time with my three children and their families. My sons, John and Nick, are married to two wonderful ladies. I have two granddaughters, Paige and Piper. My daughter Jessica works in downtown Chicago.
