Dear Parents,
First we would like to apologize for the hot lunch mix up last week. We are sorry for any turbulence this might have caused.
We had a great Catholic Schools Week. Everything from our staff volleyball game to Skateland was a big success! We are so blessed to have a small town Catholic school in our area. We look forward to many more Catholic Schools' Weeks to come! We also enjoyed our 100th day of school. We had an incredible day with all the different festivities and activities we completed. Please practice number recognition at home with your child using the number chart they made.
Next week, is Dental Hygiene Week. We will be discussing all the many habits that go along with healthy teeth and gums. We are participating in an Illinois State Dental Society coloring contest. We will do the coloring in class, but we will need you to fill out the parent permission part of the form. We will need you to return it to us, and we will mail all of the entries together.
First graders have received a Design-An-Ad entry form. Please follow the contest rules and information carefully. These need to be completed and returned to school by Tuesday, February 21st. We can't wait to see all of the creative ads!
The post card project is almost complete. The students are continuing to get excited with every postcard we receive. The only states we are missing are Oklahoma, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Thank you so much for all your help with this. We have learned so much about our country.
