Background:

I graduated from Teutopolis,Illinois.(home of the Wooden Shoes) I received my special/elementary degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.

My first teaching job was at Effingham, St. Anthony for 11 years, teaching 4th through 6th grades.  I moved up here in 1995 and started teaching at St. Thomas.  This will be my 14th year at St. Thomas.  I have taught the 3rd grade up to the 8th grade.  I enjoy the level I am at now the best!!

I married Jim, who is also a graduate from T-Town.  He is the Chief financial officer at Premier Coop located in Champaign. We have 5 beautiful children.  Carrie is 24 and was married in May.  She now lives in Hinesville Georgia with her Army husband.Emily, 22, graduated with an accounting degree and is working and living at home.  Henry is a senior at Augustana in Rock Island and is starting on the varsity football team and will major in Biology.   Ana is a freshman and playing on a basketball scholarship at Kankakee Community College. Justin is an 8th grader at St. Thomas. The older 4 have already graduated from St. Thomas and Justin will be the 5th.  I am honored and I enjoy teaching at St. Thomas.

Go Tigers!!
