Dear and Beloved Families and Friends, Another school year is winding down and coming to a close. Fun Day festivities are in full force, the excitement of lazy summer days to come, and the cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning are in full force.
It is with a heavy heart; heavy because it is so filled with beautiful memories and gratitude for having been among all of you, that I write my last Principal’s Corner. I truly cannot thank everyone enough for all you have shared with me and taught me. My time at St. Thomas School has been a true joy. My spirit and belief in God have grown and been strengthened beyond measure. Both the Grand People and School Students gave me Card Showers this week; each card had the kindest thoughts and best wishes than I have ever received. All of the hugs, kind words, advice for living a slower life style, and prayers from all the St. Thomas School Community will be treasured in my heart and thoughts forever. Just as God closes this door of my life journey, I am looking forward to what He has planned for my family and me as He opens my next door.
With God’s abundant love, may we all continue to go forth and
LIVE, LOVE, AND SERVE AS CHRIST.
Anita Crain, Principal

St. Thomas Altar & Rosary has heard of a few people saying they would like to see a Mother/Daughter Banquet be brought back. This is an event that we did in the past around the end of April, early part of May. The banquet was done several different ways in the past. Example: Style Show, Music Entertainment, along with dinner and dessert. It was a great way to celebrate being a mom with your daughter, aunt, grandmother, godmother, etc. and sharing time with others in the surrounding community. The Mother/Daughter Banquet does not have to be done as it was in the past. New things are welcome! We would just like to know if there is an interest in bringing this back and if there is anyone out there that would like to head this up! What about if we could have members of all 3 of our parishes put this on! We would like to hear from you. If you would like to be a part of the committee, or would like to head this up, please contact Kathy Miebach 684-2405, Lois Happ 684-2403 or the church office. Please contact us by June 28th if this is something you would like to see!
